This recipe comes from my pal, Chef Bob of the Trussville Antique Mall (see restaurant reviews). It is so rich and luscious. It is the perfect ending to a forth quarter, Hope your favorite team wins.......
Chocolate Fudge Pie
2 sticks butter
1 cup bittersweet chocolate ( 51/2 sqr's) ( I used semi-sweet chocolate)
3/4 cup dark brown sugar (I used light brown sugar)
1 cup white sugar
3 TBSP flour
4 eggs
4TBSP heavy cream
2 tsp. vanilla
1-9 inch pie crust(unbaked)
Melt butter and chocolate together. Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in 325 degree oven for 45-55 minutes. Serve warm, if desired. Chef Bob did say let pie cool 1 hour before serving(if you can)!
Note:I did beat the eggs first be fore adding to the other ingredients.
